Terms and Conditions for Nominations

1. Eligibility

Nominations are open to individuals, groups, or organisations based in Abu Dhabi or whose work has made a meaningful impact in the Abu Dhabi community.
Nominees must be 18 years or older, unless otherwise stated (e.g. Youth Empowerment or Rising Star categories).
Nominees may be nominated by others or submit a self-nomination.
Employees or direct family members of the organising team may not be nominated.

2. Nomination Guidelines

All nominations must be submitted through the official nomination form by the deadline specified on our website or campaign channels.
Nominations must be accurate, truthful, and provide specific examples or evidence of the nominee’s impact.
Incomplete or duplicate submissions may be disqualified at the discretion of the organisers.

3. Judging Process

All eligible nominations will be reviewed by a panel of judges, including select event sponsors, community leaders, and representatives from Abu Dhabi Review.
Judges will score each nominee based on a set criteria, including impact, innovation, sustainability, and relevance to the category.
All decisions made by the judging panel are final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the results.

4. Categories

Nominators are encouraged to select the most appropriate category for their nominee. However, organisers reserve the right to reassign nominations to a different category if deemed more appropriate.

5. Finalists & Winners

Finalists will be notified via email and/or phone and may be featured on Abu Dhabi Review’s website and social channels in the lead-up to the event.
Winners will be announced at the Community Champions Awards Night 2025 (TBC). They may be required to participate in event photography, press, or social content related to the ceremony.

6. Data Protection & Consent

By submitting a nomination, you confirm that the information provided is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
Personal details submitted in the form will be used solely for the purposes of administering the awards and will not be shared with third parties without permission.
By nominating someone, you confirm that you have obtained their consent to share their information.
By filling out the nomination form you will be automatically added to the Abu Dhabi Review newsletter list. To unsubscribe, please click the link in a newsletter email from the organiser.

7. Event Participation

Attendance at the awards ceremony (ceremony TBC) is encouraged for nominees and finalists, but not mandatory.
Finalists may be invited to speak or participate in short video content during the ceremony.

8. Amendments

The organisers reserve the right to make changes to the event or nomination process at any time, including category adjustments or rescheduling of the event.
