Abu Dhabi has just earned its own signature chocolate and it comes from the chef who set the internet on fire with the original Dubai Chocolate. Chef Nouel Catis has unveiled his newest creation, the Abu Dhabi Chocolate, under his brand SNAAP, and it is every bit a love letter to the capital.

If Dubai Chocolate was bold and buzzy, this one leans into Abu Dhabi’s quieter charm. Think craftsmanship, culture, and the kind of understated luxury the city does so well. Chef Nouel’s journey in the UAE actually began here, so the flavour pays tribute to the place that shaped him. It is rooted in tradition, but designed with a modern palate in mind.

Inside the bar you’ll find saffron and cardamom for depth, tahina and dates for that smooth, earthy warmth, and his signature nostalgic crunch that gives each bite a familiar comfort. The whole thing is wrapped in thick salted caramel and finished with 24 karat gold flakes. It tastes like Abu Dhabi feels. Refined. Warm. Thoughtful.

The Abu Dhabi Chocolate is available only at select Rain Café locations. If you are after a sweet treat with a sense of place and a story behind it, this is the one to try.
