One of the world’s most celebrated tenors is heading back to Abu Dhabi this December, with Andrea Bocelli confirmed as the first artist to perform as part of the brand-new Yasalam Classics concert series during Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix week.
The Italian music icon will take to the stage at Etihad Arena on Wednesday 2 December 2026, bringing his Romanza 30th Anniversary World Tour to Abu Dhabi for a one-night-only performance. Joining him on stage will be the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra, who are known for powerful and expressive performances.
The concert marks the launch of Yasalam Classics, a new addition to the Yasalam presented by e& entertainment programme. The series is introducing classical music performances to Abu Dhabi Grand Prix week for the first time - a very different experience fans may be used to - whilst the Yasalam entertainment programme has already announced Lewis Capaldi, Zara Larsson and Imagine Dragons for the After-Race Concerts.
Bocelli has enjoyed a career spanning more than 30 years, selling over 90 million records worldwide and performing at some of the world's biggest events, including the Olympic Games and the FIFA World Cup. Fans can expect to hear some of his most loved songs, including Time to Say Goodbye (Con te partirò), Canto della Terra and Ave Maria.
Not a stranger to the capital, his next Abu Dhabi performance will also celebrate the 30th anniversary of Romanza, the record-breaking album that helped make him a global star and remains the best-selling Italian-language album of all time.
