Nobu to pop up at Yas Marina for Race Weekend | F1 Weekend | Eat and drink in Abu Dhabi

Big news for food lovers: Nobu is coming to Abu Dhabi.

Yes, that Nobu - the world-famous Japanese restaurant co-founded by Chef Nobu Matsuhisa and Robert De Niro - is setting up an exclusive pop-up at Yas Marina from 1 to 7 December 2025, right in the middle of the city’s the capital's biggest weekend.

Perched on the third floor of Building 1, the pop-up will bring Nobu’s signature mix of sleek design, cool energy, and unforgettable flavours to the capital. Expect all the favourites - Black Cod Miso, Yellowtail Jalapeño, and Rock Shrimp Tempura - alongside dishes like Wagyu A9 Truffle Amazu and Lobster Tempura with Tamari Honey Sauce. Dessert lovers can dive into Miso Cappuccino, Mochi Ice Cream, or the classic Nobu Cheesecake.

There’s space for around 220 diners, spread across indoor and outdoor seating that overlooks Yas Marina, which is ideal for soaking up the Race Weekend buzz. From Thursday to Sunday, guests can choose from three beverage options (soft, premium, or bubbly) and catch a live DJ set to keep the energy high.

Chef Nobu himself summed it up perfectly:

Yas Marina is once again shaping up to be the place to be during the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Alongside Nobu, new arrivals and long-time favourites are turning the marina into a mini-festival of food, music, and glamour.

The newly opened Bla Bla Bar is joining the lineup this year, alongside Diablito Food & Music, a Mediterranean favourite with some of the best views of the action.

Bar Du Port will bring a slice of the French Riviera to the capital, while Ishtar, La Mezcaleria, and Mika are all promising big flavours and bigger parties.

For something more laid-back, Stars N’ Bars will once again deliver that lively mix of sports, live entertainment, and fun-loving vibes - perfect for catching the race and a few drinks with friends.
