Umm Al Emarat Park has kicked off its new season, with plenty happening around the park this winter. From weekend films and market days, to activities for kids, and a few special events. Here’s what’s coming up.

Watch a film at Cinema in the Park

Cinema in the Park is back, with family-friendly films every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Set up a chair or a mat, pack a few snacks, and find a spot on the lawn before the film starts. The screenings are free to attend, with only the standard park entry fee to pay.

When: Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 2 October

Time: 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Price: Free, with standard park entry required. AED 10 for adults and children aged three and above; free for children under three and People of Determination.

Shop at The Park Market

The Park Market is back from 23 October, running every Friday and Saturday from 4pm to 10pm. Grab a bite to eat, have a look around, and shop whilst supporting homegrown businesses in Abu Dhabi. October’s market will focus on Kindness & Giving, with activities and initiatives around the theme taking place throughout the month.

If you run a small business, there are paid vendor spaces available, so you can register your interest with the park here.

When: Every Friday and Saturday from 23 October; running until 3 April 2027

Time: 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm

Check out the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi pop-up

The Guggenheim Abu Dhabi is bringing a three-day pop-up to Umm Al Emarat Park from 30 October to 1 November. It will focus on Emirati artist Mohammed Kazem and his Directions series, with talks, workshops, and activities at Shade House Lawn.

There’s a chance to hear more about Kazem’s work, try the Place and Perception activity, or join a mapping workshop based on the geographical data used in his work. A public pop quiz and giveaways are also up for grabs.

When: 30 October to 1 November

Time: 11:00 am to 8:00 pm

Where: Shade House Lawn

Meet the animals at Animal Barn

Animal Barn is back, and kids can get involved beyond just looking at the animals. They can help with feeding time, meet the keepers, learn about the animals, and get up close for a few photos. Pony and camel rides are also available.

Animal feeding: AED 10

Pony and camel rides: AED 15

BOUNCE returns to the park

BOUNCE is bringing its freestyle activities back to the park. Kids can join the BOUNCE Vibe Tribe, practise jumps on the giant inflatable airbag, and work on new tricks with help from the BOUNCE team. Look out for BINC, BOUNCE’s mascot and Progression Master, who’ll be around to meet the kids and snap a photo with them.

Get a health check at the park

You can also squeeze in a few health-related activities during your visit.

On 9 October, SEHA and Al Rahba Hospital will run a blood donation drive from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

For Pinktober, Burjeel Holdings will bring a mammogram truck on 23 and 24 October, along with free health check-ups.

Then on 30 October, Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City will be there with a mammogram truck, a walkathon, giveaways, and a few other activities to take part in.
