There is plenty happening across the city this Eid, whether you are planning a meal out, a staycation or something to do with the family.

EID EATS


The Ritual Brunch, Oléa at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island

Right on the beachfront, this is one of those brunches that naturally turns into a full afternoon. The setting does a lot of the work, especially if you sit outside looking over Saadiyat.

On the food side, it leans Mediterranean with a mix of international dishes, but the live stations stand out, from sushi to the asado grill. You’ll find dishes like Moroccan tagine and salt-baked seabass alongside a full spread of salads and desserts.

Eid at the Park, Umm Al Emarat Park

If you want something easy, outdoors and genuinely family-friendly, this is one of the best things to do in Abu Dhabi this Eid.

There’s a full programme running across the weekend, including live shows, roaming entertainment, arts and crafts and outdoor games.

You can also stay into the evening for cinema screenings and Emirati films, plus a falcon interaction at 6:00pm.

Set along the waterfront, this has more of a local feel than a structured event. You can move between food, games and live music at your own pace.

Alongside the bigger plans, there’s a strong line-up of cultural programmes happening across Abu Dhabi this Eid. These are the ones that feel more local, slower-paced and worth building into your plans.


Eid at Delma Museum

Set on Delma Island, this is one of the more traditional ways to experience Eid, with performances, crafts and storytelling bringing Emirati heritage to life in a more intimate setting.

Eid Al Fitr at Zayed National Museum

A full programme running across the Eid period, with performances, workshops and storytelling designed to bring families together.

Our Tale in the Nights of Al Maqta’a

Running through Ramadan and into Eid, this is more of an evening setting with food, retail stalls and cultural activities.

Film Screening: The Red Turtle, Louvre Abu Dhabi

A one-off screening inspired by the Abu Dhabi Sea Turtle Rehabilitation Project.

Ghay Al Eid, Al Ain

Taking place across multiple heritage sites, this programme focuses on traditional performances including Harbiya bands and Razfa.

It’s one of the more immersive cultural experiences, set within locations like Al Ain Oasis and Qasr Al Muwaiji.

Eid at Souq Al Qattara

Fuwalat Al Eid, Al Hosn

One of the more unique activations, centred around creating your own fuwala using fruits and traditional sweets.

A shorter, more focused programme with a puppet show for children running at Abu Dhabi Children’s Library.

Works well as a quick stop if you’re nearby.
