June is officially underway, and there are plenty of things happening around the capital. From beach days and roast nights to creative workshops for kids, ladies’ nights and community markets, plus a summit for those affected by Menopause - here is our roundup of things to do in Abu Dhabi this week.  


Monday 1 June

Kai Beach has a new 5-Visit Beach Wallet


Never bored of a beach day? Head to Kai Beach and reserve a few beach days for the summer ahead. The 5-Visit Beach Wallet gives you five entries to Saadiyat’s beach on weekdays to use over 60 days. Alongside sand and sea, you’ll also have access to the on-site facilities throughout the day.

Wednesday 3 June 

Pottery for the kids at Cultural Foundation


Take your kids to the Cultural Foundation this Wednesday for an interactive ceramic workshop. A hands-on chance to explore basic pottery techniques while working with form, texture, and design. 

It’s all part of a wider creative event that brings in different craft forms like ceramics, paper art, glass art, and decoupage, that gives kids the chance to try a bit of everything and see what they connect with.

World Bicycle Day Ride at Hudayriyat Island


Ready to get pedalling again? This Wednesday evening might be a good excuse to bring your bike out. Head to Hudayriyat Island for World Bicycle Day, with family rides ranging from 1km to 5km and a 40km race if you're up for more of a challenge. 

You can get a World Bicycle Day medal, with podium medals awarded for the 40km race as part of the experience.

Friday 5 June

Events Night Market returns for its seasonal pop up


Head to Formal Park for food stalls, small shops, games, and a kids’ corner. If you like to shop, the stalls will feature everything from, jewellery, clothing, and unique  gifts. There’s also live music with a DJ and Battle off the Band, plus bouncy castles and a mascot parade.

Saturday 6 June

GCC Menopause Summit
