The capital is packed with an interesting line up this week, whether you are trying to keep the kids entertained or planning your next weekend escape.

Monday 29 June
Start the week with a sound healing session at the Natural History Museum
Titled Under the Strawberry Moon, the hour-long session explores how sound and resonance actually work, using acoustic vibrations to help you switch off after the day. The session takes place in the Curiosity Wing on the second floor.
While the event itself is free, you do need to purchase a standard museum entry ticket to gain access, and advance registration for the session is mandatory.

Tuesday 30 June
Sunset Sessions at Siddharta Lounge by Buddha-Bar
Catch the sunset from an air conditioned rooftop at Yas Bay Waterfront during Siddharta Lounge's weekday happy hour. Running from 17:00 to 19:00, you can get buy-one-get-one-free deals on selected drinks and grab a canapé platter for AED 35.

Wednesday 1 July
Catch a match at a FIFA fanzone this Wednesday
Several venues across the capital have turned into dedicated football screening hubs. You and the family can head over to the 24-hour setup at Belgian Café on Yas Island, try the indoor screening lounge at Nalu on Hudayriyat Island (open from 12:00 noon to 03:00 am), or watch the games at Loca on Al Maryah Island (adults only).

Kids eat free at Snow Abu Dhabi
Kids eat for free at Snow Abu Dhabi as part of a new weekday dining offer at its main restaurant, The Lodge. From Monday to Thursday, when you order a full meal, one child's meal is provided on the house. With a steady -2°C temperature inside the snow park, you can also spend the day checking out rides like the Polar Express train and the Flight of the Snowy Owl.

Ladies Night at Al Ain Adventure
Al Ain Adventure is bringing back its dedicated ladies' night on Friday evening. The event includes full access to the park’s water activities, so you can spend the evening hitting the wave pool, navigating the Aqua Island obstacles, or going whitewater rafting and kayaking. There are also live DJ sets playing throughout the night, fitness classes to join, and a dinner buffet served from 7:00 pm to 08:30 pm.

The Ripe Market is setting up indoors at Abu Dhabi Mall starting this weekend. If you want to shop local, you can spend Saturday browsing stalls from small businesses, checking out unique handmade crafts, and finding one-of-a-kind items. The market runs across three weekends this July.
