If you’ve been waiting for a new spot to switch off by the sea without leaving Abu Dhabi, this might be it. A brand-new stretch of coastline is opening at Yas Bay, and it’s designed with exactly that in mind.
Launching on 19 March, Yas Bay East Beach is the latest addition from Miral, adding another layer to the ever-growing Yas Island experience. Think 290 metres of waterfront, set up for everything from slow mornings by the water to a more active start to your day.
Operated by Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island, the beach leans into a more grown-up vibe. It’s less about loud beach clubs and more about a relaxed, social atmosphere where you can dip in and out as you please.

What You Can Expect
This isn’t just somewhere to lay your towel. Alongside the usual beach access, there’s a dedicated fitness zone and open sports areas if you’re feeling a bit more energetic.
You’ll also find activities like snorkelling, beach volleyball, badminton and table tennis, with plans to roll out more wellness-led sessions from June. Think yoga, breathwork, HIIT and beach bootcamps, all with a sea view.
The beach will be open daily from 7am until sunset, making it just as suited to early risers as it is to sunset seekers.
If you’re staying at Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island, access comes included. If not, day passes are priced at AED 100 on weekdays and AED 150 on weekends. Children aged 6 to 12 get 50% off, and little ones under six go free.
Set along Yas Bay Waterfront, the beach puts you within walking distance of more than 20 restaurants and cafés, as well as the ever-busy Etihad Arena.
And if you’re planning to make a full day of it, you’re only minutes away from the big hitters like Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi and Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi.
