Abu Dhabi Festival 2026 announces headline programme with Hans Zimmer live in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi Festival is back this October for its 23rd edition, and the headline acts have just been announced.

Running from 10 October to 19 December, this year’s line-up falls under the theme The Wisdom of Culture, bringing a massive mix of concerts, ballet, live dance performances, and art exhibitions to landmark venues right across the capital. 

10 October

Things kick off at Etihad Arena with the UAE National Orchestra, led by award-winning conductor François López-Ferrer. Georgian pianist David Khrikuli joins the orchestra for a performance of Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2, before the evening concludes with Dvořák's Symphony No. 8.

13 November

Hans Zimmer brings his The Next Level tour to Etihad Arena. You'll get to hear live performances of the unforgettable scores behind films including The Lion King, Gladiator, Interstellar, Dune and Inception.

Head to Umm Al Emarat Park with the family, for the debut of the Children's Biennale. Your kids can join teaching artists to create artworks using sustainable materials, with the finished pieces displayed throughout the park during the festival.
