Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is going ahead this December

Good news if you’re heading to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix this year. Formula 1 has confirmed that the season finale will go ahead as planned at Yas Marina Circuit from December 3 to 6.

Formula 1 CEO Stefano Domenicali said preparations are on track, with only a limited number of tickets still available.

“The calendar is confirmed. There are still a few tickets to be sold in Abu Dhabi… and we stay focused on delivering the calendar we promised at the beginning of the year,” he said.

If you’re still sorting out your race weekend, Yas Island’s Grand Prix packages include a three-night hotel stay, four-day race tickets, After-Race Concert access and extras such as a day at a Yas theme park. You can choose between Abu Dhabi Hill or the Main Grandstand, depending on the package. 

For those of you who had planned to stick around for the After-Race Concerts, those are going ahead too. Zara Larsson and Lewis Capaldi will perform on Thursday, December 3, while Imagine Dragons will perform at Etihad Live on Saturday, December 5.
