A fitness challenge called One Pulse is making its debut at Abu Dhabi Summer Sports this month.
The course has 12 exercise stations, but unlike most fitness competitions, you don't have to stick to one difficulty level from start to finish. Every station has three levels, so you can go all out on the bits you're good at and take it easier on the rest.
Created by the team behind 321 Sports on Hudayriyat Island, One Pulse mixes strategy in with the fitness. Every decision earns you Pulse Points, so it's not just about crossing the finish line first, but making smart choices throughout the course.
You'll take on a mix of cardio, strength and endurance stations, including runs, rowing, bike stations, tyre flips, farmer's walks, deadball slings, bear crawls, lunges, wall ball shots and a sled push and pull. As for the 12th and final station, it remains under wraps until the day itself.
