The capital has its fair share of fantastic places to eat, but we've found some of the newest and coolest restaurants which show off the regions love for food, fun AND photography.
Forever Rose Cafe
This 2D restaurant is totally black and white and it looks like beautifully drawn comic book, in fact the only pops of colour come from the food, cutlery and the roses (from the brand Forever Rose who offer the world's longest lasting roses). The items on offer range from fancy cakes, pastries and indulgent hot and cold beverages.

Heisenberg Restaurant
If you are having Breaking Bad withdrawals, you'll love this Walter White inspired restaurant. The menu isn't massive but you will find something to relive your Breaking Bad memories, from the spicy Caution Burger to the Gustavo chicken slider.

Boomah
The first Owl themed cafe in the region (a popular theme in Japan), is home to nine owls which can be viewed six days a week. Watch them from the actual restaurant for free (you only pay for what you consume) or from the Owls hall, where you can pay a premium to interact with the owls, learn about them and touch them, under strict guidance from the handlers. The menu is varied from coffee to Acai bowls and they are currently in a soft launch phase.

Bombay canteen
From the owners of Chhappan Bhog, this new Indian eatery serves up street food, classic grills, biryani, burgers and traditional frankies, complemented by kadak chai and fresh home made lassis.

Fa'e Cafe
This restaurant inspired by spirit of the Ghaff Tree and located at the Abu Dhabi Youth Hub. The restaurant offers a space to dine where you feel the warmth and shade of the cozy dinning. Their menu uses organic & seasonal items from local farms and includes and eclectic mix of Donburi, Acai bowls, falafel chips.

Geek Kitchen
Not so new, but a fun restaurant for all you self-named geeks out there. It may feel like you are walking into a comic book convention but instead you are met with pop culture decor and a menu with geeky names like Dark Knight Benny Brisket, Iron Man chicken burger and Dr. Strange onion rings. The kids will love it too as there are lots of Funko Pop figures around to look at and buy!
