Dionela is headlining Yas Waterworld’s biggest Kabayan Night

The Filipino singer-songwriter is coming to Abu Dhabi for a huge night of live music, Filipino food, entertainment, and after-dark waterpark fun, as Kabayan Night returns to Yas Waterworld on Sunday, 27 September 2026.

One of the Philippines’ most recognisable contemporary artists, Dionela has built a huge following thanks to tracks including “sining” and “Marilag”, and Abu Dhabi fans will get the chance to see him perform live during the event.

But Yas Waterworld's Kabayan Night isn’t just about the headline performance.

Across the evening, there will be live singers and DJs, a parade featuring street dancers, roving entertainment, themed photo spots, and, importantly, plenty of Filipino street food.

The waterpark’s rides and slides will remain part of the action, with more than 70 experiences to choose from. That includes some of the newer additions from Yas Waterworld’s Lost City expansion, including Matamir’s Drop, the UAE’s tallest waterslide, and the zero-gravity Sahel Matamir.

If hurtling down a waterslide isn’t quite your idea of a Sunday night, you can also head to Sarab, the park’s newer pool area, for something a little more relaxed between performances.

Tickets for Kabayan Night start from AED 125, and there will also be free transportation on selected routes across the UAE, making it easier for Kabayans outside Abu Dhabi to join the night.
