Free breast cancer screening in Abu Dhabi this October
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and you can get a free breast cancer screening at Pink Caravan clinics in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain throughout the month.
Where can you get screened?
There are three fixed Pink Caravan clinics in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain this October. You can head over anytime between 4:00 pm and 10:00 pm, and screening is free.
Mushrif Mall, Abu Dhabi - 1 to 31 October 2026
Mall of Al Ain -1 to 15 October 2026
Makani Zakher, Al Ain -16 to 31 October 2026
The mobile clinics are equipped with clinical facilities for breast health screenings, including clinical breast examinations and mammograms for those who meet the relevant eligibility criteria. There will also be awareness sessions covering breast health, signs and symptoms, self-examination and regular screening.
Regular screening can help spot breast cancer early, even before you notice any symptoms, which can make a difference when it comes to treatment.
The annual campaign by Friends of Cancer Patients (FOCP) starts on 1 October, with more than 75 clinic activations taking place across the UAE. Along with fixed clinics, Pink Caravan will have mobile and mini mobile clinics visiting communities, workplaces, universities, shopping destinations and government entities.
