Guggenheim Abu Dhabi

The countdown is officially on, Abu Dhabi. Tickets are now on sale for the much awaited Guggenheim Abu Dhabi opening on 11 December 2026.

General admission to the new Saadiyat Island museum will cost AED 70, while entry will be free for under-18s, UAE students, and visitors aged 60 and over. There'll also be reduced admission rates for other eligible groups.

Designed by the late architect Frank Gehry, Guggenheim Abu Dhabi will be one of the major new additions to Saadiyat Cultural District, with 28 galleries, a central atrium, 10 sculptural cones, and extensive outdoor exhibition spaces.

Inside, the museum will focus on modern and contemporary art, bringing together its collection alongside commissions, temporary exhibitions, and public programmes.

The building itself is also a major part of the experience. Gehry's distinctive design connects its galleries through a central atrium, with the museum extending into outdoor spaces designed to accommodate art beyond the traditional gallery setting.
