IIFA 2027 is back in Abu Dhabi for another Bollywood-packed weekend
Bollywood fans, you have a big date to add to your January 2027 diary. IIFA Weekend & Awards is returning to Abu Dhabi for its fourth showcase, bringing two days of Indian cinema, live entertainment, and awards to Yas Island.
The 27th edition will take place at Etihad Arena on 22 and 23 January, 2027.
The first names announced include Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Karan Johar, Pankaj Tripathi, and Ali Fazal.
IIFA has previously brought its awards to Abu Dhabi in 2022, 2023, and 2024. If you were in Abu Dhabi for the 2024 edition, you’ll know that it turned into a full weekend of Indian cinema, with IIFA Utsavam celebrating Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada films, alongside IIFA Rocks, which focused on music and fashion.
Details of the 2027 programme are still to be announced, so there could be more names and events added closer to the date.

When do IIFA 2027 tickets go on sale?
Tickets go on sale at 10:00 am UAE time on Friday, 18 September 2026.
