John Mayer to make his Abu Dhabi debut at Saadiyat Nights 2026

Music fans in Abu Dhabi are in for a treat early next year as John Mayer is set to perform in the capital for the very first time. The seven-time Grammy Award-winning artist will take the stage on 24 January 2026 as part of the Saadiyat Nights open-air concert series.

Known for his mix of pop, rock, and blues, Mayer has sold over 20 million albums worldwide and earned a reputation as one of the most skilled guitarists of his generation. His Abu Dhabi set is expected to include favourites like Gravity, Slow Dancing in a Burning Room, Your Body Is a Wonderland, and Waiting on the World to Change.

Mayer joins an already impressive line-up for the 2025–2026 Saadiyat Nights season. Italian pianist Ludovico Einaudi is scheduled for 10 January, Lewis Capaldi on 17 January, and Latin superstar Ricky Martin on 31 January. The full season will see a mix of international stars and regional talent performing against the stunning Saadiyat Island backdrop.
