Region's First ever virtual event in honour of Baby Loss Awareness week

The 9th of October marks the beginning of Baby Loss Awareness Week across the globe. For the last 18 years this week has aimed to bring awareness and support to the many people affected by baby loss, a topic that close to many globally.

As part of their dedication to breaking down barriers for women in the region, and opening conversations that may be difficult to have in the mainstream, a number of incredible communities have come together to create Love Through Loss – a virtual one day event to bring together pregnancy and baby loss survivors, as well as those who have struggled or been unable to become parents. The goal being to support the UAE community of women and men that have been affected by baby loss and to raise awareness across the Middle East and beyond.

Love Through Loss will take place on 12th October 2021 and is the culmination of a set of amazing organisations and women coming together to create a completely new, never-before possible event. Thanks to the Love through Loss Organisation, IVF Support UAE, Small and Mighty Babies, TFMR Mamas and health and wellness agency TishTash, ANYONE effected by baby loss can come together to share, discuss and receive support and guidance.

The virtual event is a full day program, designed to offer a completely safe place for difficult discussions to happen and to ultimately bring communities together. Each session will be hosted by a specialist within a specific area of baby loss as well as a person who has first-hand experience.

The sessions will include topics including Loss in multiple pregnancy, NICU and Infant Loss, Dad's grieve too and Pregnancy after Loss. There will also be a number of interactive sessions such as mindfulness in grief and womb healing as well as guidance sessions for those currently having to navigate baby loss. Due to the nature of the event itself, complete anonymity is possible, enabling a secure and private space allowing participants to take part in sessions with complete confidence and safety.

“Love Through Loss” is free to attend and open to everyone and you can dip in and out of the daily sessions as you wish. Register via this link: https://bit.ly/LoveThroughLoss
