Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque now has an entry fee

A visit to Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is no longer completely free, with the Abu Dhabi landmark introducing an entry fee for visitors.
If you’re visiting Abu Dhabi’s iconic landmark, you’ll now pay AED 5 if you’re an Emirates ID holder, or AED 10 if you’re a tourist. If you’re booking through a tour operator, the charge is AED 8.
The mosque remains free to enter for worshippers, while visitors aged 60 and above can also enter without paying.
The entry fee is separate from the mosque’s other experiences. The Light & Peace Museum and Diya, an immersive 360-degree experience, are AED 25 each, or AED 40 together.
You can still join one of the mosque’s free cultural tours, which run daily and cover the architecture, Islamic art, and culture of the landmark.
