We recently stayed at Danat Jebel Dhanna Resort, located in Ruwais, the Western Region. The overnight staycation location is about 2.5 hours away from Abu Dhabi.
Three Point Review:
1-#room was pleasant enough. Our room had a balcony with a lovely sea view, which in cooler months would be a pleasure to take in. The room had plenty of amenities from an abundance of toiletries, a DVD player and tea and coffee facilities.
2-#Dining takes place in a few different outlets. For buffet breakfast and lunch, you can head to the all day dining restaurant, Tides where they have a choice of international cuisine (they were also very good at making more veggie options). At Zaitoun they serve Italian Cuisine and at the L’attitude Bar they serve food from 4pm. We were also introduced to the chef’s table which was a gastronomical feast - an option to consider if you are a group.
3-#entertainment is great at L’attitude Bar. They have a live band called PowerPlay that play six nights a week performing lots of greatest hits and newer songs too. We loved them!! And the bar offers popcorn while you watch the show. 🍿
#ADRfave - we absolutely loved our Swedish massage at the health club. They were very accommodating when we asked for the oil to be warm. #highmaintenance 🙈
#ADRtip - The sea was lovely and warm but during the day the tide was so far out, we had to walk for quite some distance before we could get submerged in the water. So get your sea legs on!
