Taste of Abu Dhabi is back for 2019 and it's going to be a corker!


UB40 AND Boyzlife to headline the capital's favourite food, drinks and music festival and tickets are on sale now!


Taste of Abu Dhabi returns from 7th to 9th November 2019 at du Arena and will be jam-packed with the hottestĀ restaurants, world-class celebrity chefs and three-days of non-stop entertainment and music.


UB40 the legendary English reggae and pop band and four-time Grammy Award nominee will kick-start the festival on Thursday 7th November performing chartbusters from their latest album ā€˜For the Manyā€™, as well as UB40 classics ā€˜Food For Thoughtā€™,Ā ā€˜One In Tenā€™,Ā ā€˜I Canā€™t Help Falling In Love With Youā€™ and ā€˜Sing Our Own Songā€™.


On Friday, 8th November, the teenager in all of us will be swaying along to Boyzlife duo Keith Duffy and Brian McFadden, who will performĀ a mixture of the greatest hits from Westlife and Boyzone including ā€˜Flying Without Wingsā€™, ā€˜No Matter Whatā€™, ā€˜I Love The Way You Love Meā€™, ā€˜Swear It Againā€™, ā€˜Love Me ForĀ A Reasonā€™, and ā€˜Baby Can I Hold Youā€™.


There will also be live music every day from local artists and bands including 4TheMusic, Yeah Yeah Nah and DJ Sheps amongst others.


A new lineup of world-class celebrity chefs will host live cooking demonstrations and share their latest cooking tips and techniques at the Crate & Barrel Chefā€™s Theatre.


Celebrity chefs coming to Taste of Abu Dhabi 2019 include:


  • Multi-Michelin star and 5 of 5 AA Rosettes awarding-winning French chef Jean Christophe Novelli;

  • Australian chef, author, restauranteur and MasterChef UK judge John Torode;

  • cookbook author and founder of Assia Kitchen, Assia Othman;

  • Indian chef, restauranteur, author and MasterChef India judge, Kunal Kapur;

  • international bestselling author on baby and childrenā€™s food and nutrition, Annabel Karmel;

  • Our favourite master pĆ¢tissier Eric Lanlard will be running his popular baking masterclasses at the ā€˜Big Baking Tentā€™, alongside local and international pastry experts sharing tips and tricks with Abu Dhabiā€™s budding baking enthusiasts.


For the first time ever at Taste of Abu Dhabi, you can enjoy a bespoke beverage tasting experience along with a showcase of mixologist masterclasses at the Beverage Theatre.

This year there will also be an International Food Pavilion sampling a selection of internationalĀ delicacies andĀ the best locallyĀ produced honey, dates, cheeses, bread and the best organic and fresh produce available in the Middle East.


New for 2019 there will be a dedicated Emirati Pavilion, where you can immerse yourself in Emirati cuisine and experience the flavours of the UAE while learning about local traditions and culture.


Over 15 restaurants from across the Capital will be serving up taste size delights including:

  • contemporary Italian cuisine from Robertoā€™s;

  • a supreme steak experience from Butcher & Still; Lebanese fare at Sambusek;

  • exquisite IndianĀ cuisine from Namak by Kunal Kapur;

  • and modern interpretations of classic Chinese dishes at Dai Pai Dong;

  • more restaurants to be announced over the coming weeks.
