Art Market

Abu Dhabi takes breakfast seriously. Turkish eggs, shakshouka, stacks of pancakes, proper full English breakfasts, and plenty of good coffee. We’ve put together our pick of  places in the capital worth setting an alarm for, plus a few for those of us who think breakfast should last well into the afternoon.

The B Club

Abu Dhabi’s cosy, community breakfast spot serves their eggs with Brioche. The B Club packs the doorstop bread with scrambled eggs as a base, and tops it with a variety of ingredients, including with cheddar and chives, avocado, smoked turkey, mushroom pesto, or smoked salmon.

And if eggs aren’t your thing, try their Hot honey halloumi, giving you a sweet and salty start to your day.

It’s small inside with very limited seating, but the plus is that the café is pet-friendly too, with small dogs allowed inside on a leash.

Society Abu Dhabi

At Society, you can have breakfast right by the water at Mamsha Beach on Saadiyat Island. Grab a table inside and take in the aesthetics, (including the large glass windows), or sit outside and take your pick from Turkish eggs with garlic labneh and chilli oil, shakshouka with feta and beef sausage, truffle scrambled eggs or eggs Benedict.

If you’re after something sweet, try the coconut granola and caramelised banana, or go for pancakes or an açai chia bowl.
