School's out, and with most classes set to resume on 31 August, there's no shortage of ways to make the most of the summer holidays. Whether you're planning family adventures, catching up on the capital's newest attractions or simply looking for something different to do, here's our roundup of some of the best ways to spend the school break.
ENTERTAINMENT
Ferrari World
Get your adrenaline fix at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, where high-speed rides and family attractions come together under one roof. You can take on Flying Aces, which climbs 63 metres before soaring through the world's highest non-inverted loop, or experience Mission Ferrari, home to the world's first sideways coaster drop. Just keep in mind that Formula Rossa, the world's fastest rollercoaster, remains closed for maintenance, but there are lots of other rides and attractions to keep the excitement going.
Kids can get behind the wheel at Junior Grand Prix, race around Speedway Race or let their imaginations run wild at Nello's Adventureland. If you're visiting with little ones, you can also explore a miniature Italy on Bell' Italia or test their driving skills at the Ferrari Esports Arena and Karting Academy.
If you’re hungry, you’ll find everything from Italian dishes at Gran Tour Emilia and Mamma Rossella to quick bites at Officers FoodQuarters and coffee, gelato and sweet treats at Espresso Rosso. Before you leave, you’ll exit through the Ferrari Store so you can pick up branded merchandise and souvenirs.

Warner Bros. World
Kids can spend the day exploring Warner Bros. World's rides and attractions alongside some of the studio's most recognisable characters. It's split into six themed lands, each with its own rides, shows and attractions.
Little ones will probably make a beeline for Cartoon Junction, where they'll find gentler rides and colourful attractions featuring favourites like Bugs Bunny, Scooby-Doo and Tom and Jerry. Older kids and adults, meanwhile, can head to Gotham City or Metropolis for action-packed rides inspired by Batman and Superman. And look out for your favourite superheroes and cartoon characters, who’ll be roaming around the park throughout the day, plus performing shows in the main plaza.
There are also lots of choices for dining, from quick snacks to sit-down meals, plus shops selling themed souvenirs, character gifts and Warner Bros. merchandise.

Kids can climb through the Enchanted Tree, hop aboard the Polar Express Train or enjoy a spin on the Crystal Carousel, while older children can take to the skies on the Flight of the Snowy Owl. There's plenty of room to play, explore and burn off some energy, all without stepping back into the summer heat.
When everyone starts feeling peckish, you can warm up with hot chocolate and Dutch pancakes, grab a pizza at the Enchanted Café or sit down for a meal at The Lodge. Better still, jackets, boots and all the winter gear are included, so you can simply turn up and enjoy the experience.
