Get ready to clear your diary, because Abu Dhabi is lining up one of its biggest event seasons yet. From headline concerts and foodie festivals to cultural showcases and high-octane sports, the Abu Dhabi Calendar 2025–2026 promises something to keep the capital buzzing every single month.

This season is packed with crowd-pullers: think NBA Abu Dhabi Games, Abdul Majeed Abdullah, the Liwa International Festival, and of course, the F1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2025. Add to that a roster of global stars, comedy greats, theatre productions and family-friendly spectacles, and it’s clear that Abu Dhabi is setting the stage for a year of non-stop entertainment.

Here's what's coming up:

September

The action starts early with UAE Warriors 64, bringing hard-hitting MMA to the capital, while Louvre Abu Dhabi shines a spotlight on Islamic history with Mamluks: Legacy of an Empire. Running until January, it’s set to be one of the season’s cultural must-sees. Families won’t miss out either, as Hot Wheels Live promises motarised thrills for all ages.

October

October is when things really turn up. Smashing Pumpkins and Andre Rieu join the entertainment roster, along with regional favourite Abdul Majeed Abdullah. Sebastian Maniscalco is on hand for comedy fans, while the NBA Abu Dhabi Games presented by ADQ return alongside NBA District for a weekend of basketball fever.

Combat sports fans get their fill with Abu Dhabi Showdown Week and UFC 321, plus all the hype events that come with it. On the cultural side, Sheikh Zayed Festival, Bait Al Oud’s Strings Concert, Golden Ink: A Journey through Arabic and Islamic Manuscripts, and a solo show by Emirati artist Mohamed Ahmed Ibrahim keep the balance between art and action.

November

Big names keep rolling in November, with Enrique Iglesias and Travis Scott both set to perform. Foodies will be spoilt for choice at the Michelin Guide Food Festival Abu Dhabi, Taste of Abu Dhabi, and Open Fire Food Festival. Heritage takes centre stage with the Traditional Handicrafts Festival and Maritime Heritage Festival, while art lovers can explore Abu Dhabi Art and Manar Abu Dhabi. And for something a little different, Broadway favourite Beetlejuice The Musical makes its way to Etihad Arena.

December

December turns the volume up even further. Rod Stewart and Arijit Singh headline major concerts, while Saadiyat Nights brings Ludovico Einaudi and Lewis Capaldi to the outdoor stage for a mix of classical and soulful sounds.

The Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2025 roars back into Yas Marina Circuit, cementing its place as the city’s biggest annual event. Meanwhile, Liwa Village, Mother of the Nation Festival and other cultural moments transform Abu Dhabi, Al Dhafra and Al Ain into hubs of family fun, live music, and adventure.

With more announcements still to come, the Abu Dhabi Calendar is shaping up to be the ultimate guide to living the capital this season. Whether you’re here for culture, cuisine, concerts or championships, one thing’s certain: Abu Dhabi is the place to be.
