Travel Through Fables at Louvre Abu Dhabi

It’s no secret the best AC is always at museums, so escape the heat and explore Louvre Abu Dhabi. "From Kalīla wa Dimna to La Fontaine: Travelling through Fables" explores the timeless literary genre that transcends across cultures and centuries, imparting life lessons and values to both adults and children. The exhibit traces the evolution of these fables from originating in India and Greece, then evolving through influential figures such as Ibn al-Muqaffa' and Aesop, until reaching their pinnacle with French fabulist Jean de La Fontaine in the 17th century.

Manarat Al Saadiyat's Photography Studio presents the outcome of the second cohort of the Spectrum Photography Residency. The work in the exhibition encompasses a broad range of ideas, subjects, and techniques that span a spectrum of human experiences.
