You can now book tickets for Etihad Rail passenger trains from Abu Dhabi to Fujairah and you'll get there in less than 2 hours

The Etihad Rail passenger service is officially kicking off its introductory phase with the Abu Dhabi to Fujairah route on 30 June 2026.

You will be able to travel between the two emirates in just 1 hour and 45 minutes, departing from the newly inaugurated Mohamed bin Zayed City Passenger Train Station in Abu Dhabi and arriving at Al Hilal City station in Fujairah.

The new fleet features 13 sleek trains with a capacity of up to 400 passengers across economy, family, and first-class cabins. On board, you can expect charging stations, infotainment systems, plenty of legroom, and food and beverage services. The stations will also house cafés, restaurants, and retail spaces so you can grab whatever you need before boarding. 

The service is run by global transit experts Keolis alongside Etihad Rail, and they've designed the stations to connect straight into the city's existing buses and transport links, making the whole trip from Abu Dhabi to Fujairah incredibly easy.
