$25 million Marvel Infinity Gauntlet replica is heading to Abu Dhabi

If you're a Marvel buff, you'll know the Infinity Gauntlet, the glove Thanos wears to hold all six Infinity Stones and control the universe. A replica featuring six real gemstones is heading to auction in Abu Dhabi this December, giving you a chance to see the remarkable piece up close.
The Gauntlet is going up for auction at Julien’s Auctions’ Pop Culture Legends Evening Sale on 8 December at Rosewood Abu Dhabi on Al Maryah Island. It was made by East Continental Gems in collaboration with Marvel and Disney, and first shown at San Diego Comic-Con in 2022, where it was offered for $25 million.
The replica stands nearly 20 inches tall and features six real, untreated gemstones weighing more than 170 carats altogether, each representing one of the Infinity Stones from the films.
One of the gems has been around for a while. The emerald representing the Time Stone was discovered over a century ago and spent more than 30 years in East Continental Gems’ collection before making its way into the Gauntlet.
All six gemstones have been certified by American Gemological Laboratories, and the diamond also comes with documentation from the Gemological Institute of America.
And if you win the bid, you won't just be taking home the Gauntlet. You'll also get a certificate of authenticity signed by Jim Starlin, the creator of the original Infinity Gauntlet storyline, plus the original presentation case.
Just keep in mind that bidding needs to be approved by Julien’s Auctions in advance.
