Abu Dhabi is gearing up for a new tram network

Your daily commute around Abu Dhabi could soon look very different.

A new tram network is being developed across the capital, giving you another way to get around without having to take the car every time you head across the city.

The network will connect key neighbourhoods, commercial areas and cultural spots, with regular services planned throughout the day. It will also link up with buses and Etihad Rail, making it easier to switch between different ways of getting around.

And there’s more to it than just getting from A to B. The tram network could also bring more development around its stations, with better connections opening up new possibilities for the areas around them.
