Mark your calendars Abu Dhabi, the legendary composer and musician A.R. Rahman is heading to the capital for a one-night-only concert at Etihad Arena on 23 January 2026.
Rahman’s name needs little introduction. With two Academy Awards, two Grammys, a Golden Globe and a BAFTA under his belt, the Indian composer has shaped global music for more than three decades. From film scores and chart-topping tracks to patriotic anthems, his music has crossed languages and cultures, inspiring millions worldwide.
Expect to hear a specially curated setlist that spans his career, from international hits like Jai Ho to Bollywood favourites such as Chaiyya Chaiyya, Dil Se Re and Tere Bina. He’ll also bring powerful renditions of Kun Faya Kun, Vande Mataram and Maa Tujhe Salaam - performed alongside a full orchestra and international musicians.
Rahman’s concerts are known for their scale and immersive energy, combining music, vocals, and striking visuals.
