Marks & Spencer are offering a bit of education with their chocolate calendars. Check out their Science Museum Advent Calendar which has been created in partnership with the world-famous Science Museum in London. It contains 24 milk chocolate shapes, but best of all, your kids will discover facts about the solar system behind each window.

Some of the most popular non-chocolate calendars are the ones that are created by LEGO. And this year, they've pulled out all the stops and created calendars for a variety of interests and themes.
