Be on your best behaviour because Mary Poppins is about to fly into Abu Dhabi for the first time

Abu Dhabi is set for a spoonful of magic next spring as Mary Poppins, the multi award-winning musical direct from London’s West End, makes its UAE debut, right here in Abu Dhabi. The beloved production will take over Etihad Arena, Yas Island, from 25 March to 15 April 2026, with just 26 performances lined up.

Based on the stories of P.L. Travers and the iconic Disney film, Mary Poppins tells the tale of the world’s most famous nanny arriving on Cherry Tree Lane. Expect dazzling choreography, jaw-dropping stage effects, and all the unforgettable songs you know and love, from A Spoonful of Sugar and Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious to Step in Time and Chim Chim Cher-ee.

The creative team behind the production is as starry as the show itself, with original music by Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman, a book by Julian Fellowes, and direction by Richard Eyre. It’s a mix of classic charm and contemporary stagecraft that has captivated audiences around the globe.
