Etihad Airways and the Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT) Abu Dhabi have teamed up to give international travellers complimentary medical travel insurance. Underwritten by Daman, the cover applies automatically to every qualifying ticket with no forms, no fees, and no extra admin required.

Sorting out travel insurance is usually the most tedious part of holiday planning. By adding medical cover directly into the booking, the initiative cuts out the paperwork entirely. If you land a bit under the weather or face an unexpected medical issue while exploring the city, you have direct access to Daman's extensive healthcare network across the capital.

Whether you are mapping out a museum crawl on Saadiyat Island, planning a weekend on the Yas Island rollercoasters, or just pausing for a quick stopover, it acts as a massive safety net that costs absolutely nothing.

When: Valid for travel from July through December 2026

Duration: Valid for up to 15 days from arrival

Eligibility: Anyone booking an Etihad-operated flight with a point of origin and point of sale outside the UAE

Stopovers: If you are using Etihad’s Stopover Programme to spend a few days in the capital before heading to your final destination, you are fully covered for your stay.
