Dar Al Funoon

Saadiyat Island is already home to some of Abu Dhabi’s biggest cultural attractions, and Dar Al Funoon will add another space for you to enjoy music, theatre and live performances.
Designed by the late architect Frank Gehry, the new venue will feature spaces for large-scale productions as well as smaller, more intimate performances.

Once open, you’ll be able to explore exhibitions, collections and ideas from artists across different regions, giving you another place to discover art and culture in Abu Dhabi.
Designed by the late Frank Gehry, the building itself is expected to become one of Saadiyat Island’s most recognisable sights, adding another cultural landmark to the island’s growing arts scene.
Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi’s newest additions

Superman fans, get ready for more action at Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi. There are two new DC attractions inspired by the Comics, making their way to the park. The first, Kryptonite Collider, opens on 26 July 2026 and takes you into one of Lex Luthor’s latest experiments.
Once inside, you’ll become part of the story as the ride combines motion effects, lighting, sound and digital elements for a superhero-inspired experience.
A second DC-themed attraction is also in development, Superman Up and Away, a next-generation flying roller coaster due to open in 2028. The ride is designed to put you in Superman’s shoes as you launch face-down and race through Metropolis on a mission to save the city.
