If you are struggling to find the best way of recycling your plastic and cans, a newly launched smart app is going to make it a fuss free experience for you, and you'll be able to earn rewards every time you do it.
RECAPP is the only free of charge recycling mobile application in Abu Dhabi, offering a door-to-door collection service of your recyclables at a time that suits you. Currently they are only collecting plastics and cans but they will be expanding the service to include other recyclables soon.
How does it work?
Segregate your plastic and metal can recyclables from general waste
Download their APP (GooglePlay or App Store)
Schedule the pick-up time and they'll collect at your door and recycle your items, all for free!
They also have a rewards scheme which has brand such as Al Ain Water and Agthia as reward partners. You can win vouchers that you can use on platforms such 1971Store each time you reach 2000 points on the RECAPP mobile app.
Since launching in November 2020 RECAPP has already collected 2 tons of recyclable materials in Abu Dhabi.
