The actor, producer and entrepreneur is among the first speakers announced for LIVEX 2026, Abu Dhabi’s inaugural Livability and Investment Exhibition, taking place at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi from 29 September to 1 October.

And Ryan Reynolds won’t be the only big name on the programme. YouTube co-founder Steve Chen, former Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo, former Bogotá Mayor Enrique Peñalosa, former Lord Mayor of Melbourne Sally Capp AO, Udacity founder Sebastian Thrun, actor and environmental advocate Adrien Grenier, climate leader Christiana Figueres and Tucker Carlson are also set to take part.

More than 100 speakers from government, technology, media, climate and investment will be part of the three-day event, with discussions around quality of life, urban development and what makes cities better places to live, work and invest.

Around 20,000 visitors from more than 50 countries are expected to attend, alongside more than 40 exhibitors. So, if you’re heading along, you’ll get to hear from plenty of big names from across the worlds of entertainment, technology, government and beyond.
