Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental Hotel will be the location for a nostalgic 70s and 80s disco in Abu Dhabi, on Saturday, 7 October 2023.
The party will start with a performance that showcases Boney M’s greatest hits presented by one of the group’s long-time touring vocalists; Ms Sheyla Bonnick, who'll be performing hit such as heir biggest international hits include Rasputin, Daddy Cool, Hooray! Hooray! It's a Holi-Holiday to name a few.
Sheyla Bonnick was there at the inception of Boney M in 1976, alongside her friend Maizie Williams, but ultimately decided leave the group to pursue other projects after just two months. Then in 1993, Sheyla and Maizie joined forces again, to form their own Boney M group. For almost a decade, they have toured the world keeping the music of Boney M alive.
Following Sheyla’s full Boney M set, the party doesnt stop with DJ Gail keeping the dancing going with non-stop 70s and 80s disco classics. Expect Donna Summer, Chic, Bee Gees, ABBA, Earth Wind and Fire, Shalamar and more
