Where to watch fireworks in Abu Dhabi this National Day weekend

To celebrate the UAE's 51st National Day, the sky across Abu Dhabi will be lit with flashes of colour and some pretty loud bangs as fireworks shows round up a weekend of celebrations.

If you like chanting oooh, ahhh at the sky, here is where you can see some spectacular fireworks displays plus some other cool activities too.

Yas Island

The UAE’s leading entertainment and leisure destination, Yas Island, will host a series of live entertainment and events every day from 1 – 3 December.

The celebrations will include an Ayallah performance across Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld, Warner Bros. World™ Abu Dhabi and CLYMB Abu Dhabi to mark the country’s 51st anniversary. In addition, you can look forward to fireworks displays as part of Yas Island's celebrations on 2nd December at 9pm.

In honor of National Day, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi will feature a large UAE Flag for you to use as a background for photo opportunities, while Yas Waterworld is inviting you to enjoy an interactive journey to learn more about the Emirati culture with a number of activities and live entertainment, including falcon handlers, oud players and rababh performers, henna and face painting.

Al Maryah Island

AL Maryah Island is gearing up to celebrate the 51st UAE National Day with a mega firework display. The event will take place on The Promenade Al Maryah Island on the 2nd and 3rd of December from 9pm.

And if you are there over the weekend, check out the retun on The Ripe Market, in its new location on at Al Maryah Island from 3pm-10pm every Friday and Saturday. The market hosts local businesses, artisans, and has a range of fun performances and activities for families and friends of all ages.

The firework display will be open to the public with parking in close proximity.
