Abu Dhabi has a good mix of brunches to choose from, from poolside afternoons and Brazilian flavours to family-friendly days out. There are options at different price points too, so you can keep things casual or make more of an occasion out of it. Here’s our pick of the best brunches in the capital.
Loca Abu Dhabi
Go Mexican for your Saturday brunch at Loca. Start with guacamole and warm corn chips, then move on to Mexican breakfast favourites including huevos rancheros, chilaquiles, and a mushroom omelette.
You can also build your own tacos, with fillings such as achiote-marinated beef, chilorio chicken, Yucatán shrimp and Mexican-spiced king fish. For your main, take your pick from slow-roasted beef ribs, carne asada, veggie burritos or fajitas.
Finish things off with a selection of two Loca desserts.

Central’s Family Brunch
There’s loads lined up for the kids at Central’s Family Brunch where they can make pancakes, get their faces painted, play giant and creative games, and even meet a roaming magician. They can also hit the arcade, with AED 100 in game credit included for kids and teens aged 5 to 20.
You’ll get a three-course sharing menu, while kids aged 5 to 12 have their own kids’ meal. Little ones aged four and under can brunch for free.

Coopers is doing a market brunch every Saturday, where you’ll get a spread of fresh salads, artisan cheeses, carvery, and desserts. There’s also unlimited roasted prime rib, braised brisket, fish and chips, and shepherd’s pie.
You can even take a dip in the pool between plates, with live music from Double Shot playing by the pool while you eat and drink.

Pop over to Barbossa for a Saturday brunch with a Rio Carnival twist. You’ll have samba dancers, feathered costumes and Latin beats, with DJ Juan on the decks to get you up and dancing.
