Ludovico Einaudi is returning to Abu Dhabi with the UAE National Orchestra

Ludovico Einaudi is returning to Abu Dhabi for another concert, but this time, he's joining the UAE National Orchestra. The Italian pianist and composer will perform at Etihad Arena on Sunday, 24 January 2027, in his first collaboration with the country's official national orchestra.
If you've seen Einaudi perform at Etihad Arena in January 2025 or Saadiyat Nights in January 2026, you'll know his piano compositions have found a loyal audience in the capital. This upcoming show will bring a new element to his music, with the 100-strong UAE National Orchestra joining him on stage.
Einaudi's music has reached well beyond classical concert halls. His albums Una Mattina and Divenire helped bring his piano compositions to a wider audience, while his work has featured in films such as Nomadland and The Father. He's also composed scores for Doctor Zhivago, This Is England and The Water Diviner.
His latest releases include The Summer Portraits, which topped the Official UK Classical Album Chart in its first week in 2025, and Solo Piano, a 2026 collection of newly recorded solo versions of works from across his catalogue.
The UAE National Orchestra launched its first season earlier this year, and now it's teaming up with Einaudi for the first time. The orchestra has 100 musicians and choir members, so it should be interesting to hear how they bring a new sound to his piano pieces.
