Yas Ladies is back (and it’s bigger this time)

One of Abu Dhabi’s most popular women-only experiences is making its return. Yas Ladies is back at Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi from Friday 24 April, and it’s not just about the slides.

Expect a full-day takeover with an all-female team, live DJs, music, and in-park shows bringing a proper Friday energy.

When: Every Friday, 10am – 8pm

Where: Yas Waterworld, Yas Island

What to expect: 70+ rides, live entertainment, full privacy


Umm Al Emarat Park launches a family summer deal (plus a free community walk)

If you’re looking for easy, low-effort family plans, Umm Al Emarat Park has introduced a new “Entry & Entertainment” package for summer.


It’s a buy three, get one free setup, covering entry plus selected Animal Barn activities — think feeding sessions, pony rides and hands-on animal encounters.

There’s also a National Parade community walk happening this weekend.

A new youth business push in Abu Dhabi

Behind the scenes, Abu Dhabi is doubling down on youth entrepreneurship.

Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry has signed an agreement with Federal Youth Authority to boost youth participation in business.


Expect more training programmes, workshops and events, plus real-world business opportunities


It’s all part of the UAE’s wider push towards a knowledge-based economy, with more support for young founders coming through.


This Yas Mall pop-up gives you skincare with your coffee

K-beauty brand DARLING* has teamed up with Angel Cakes Abu Dhabi for a limited-time wellness pop-up blending drinks and skincare.


Order from the special menu and you’ll get a free hydrating face mask with your drink.

New paid parking zones now live in Musaffah

If you drive through Musaffah regularly, this one matters.

Q Mobility has rolled out paid parking across new sectors as part of its expansion plan, under the Integrated Transport Centre.

The move is aimed at reducing congestion and making parking a bit less chaotic across the area.


Now active in: M7, M8, M9, M14, M15

Spaces added: 10,010


Cost: AED 2 per hour (standard parking)

Got black points? Get them sorted at Mushrif Mall

If you’ve been ignoring those black points, this is your moment to deal with them. Abu Dhabi Police have set up a dedicated pop-up at Mushrif Mall where you can review and reduce your points in person, without the usual hassle.

It’s running daily from 4pm to 10pm until 20 May 2026, making it an easy after-work stop. You’ll also get guidance on safer driving while you’re there.
