Ramadan 2023 | Iftar in Abu Dhabi

With Ramadan almost upon us, we have collated a list of iftars in Abu Dhabi for every budget from luxurious buffets to casual dining.


COYA Abu Dhabi, The Galleria, Al Maryah Island

Sunset until 7.30pm


Iftar comes with a Peruvian twist at the pan-latino restaurant in The Galleria on Al Maryah Island. On the menu you’ll find a bowl of COYA’s iconic creamy guacamole, a choice of tomato or creamy corn soup, plus sharing style appetisers which are served to the table. There’s also healthy light bites such as tuna aburi nigiri, fresh corn salad, veal bacon maki rolls and Chilean sea bass rice. Main courses include vegetarian-friendly quinoa and pumpkin, spicy beef fillet, grilled corn-fed baby chicken and grilled asparagus are all delivered to the table. COYA will also serve their special ‘Delicia de Luna’ Ramadan dessert, which has dates crémeux, rosewater, pistachio, apricot and camel milk ice cream.

Al Mabeet Desert Camp – Al Wathba, A Luxury Collection Desert Resort & Spa

Sunset until 10pm

Al Mabeet Desert Camp will be open exclusively for the holy month . The venue is inspired by the rustic camps of the Bedouin tribes, with a traditional tent set up featuring Bedouin-style décor, ornaments and a bonfire to gather around with your loved ones.


There’ll be live stations serving everything from healthy salads, heartwarming soups, and colorful hot and cold mezze. Main courses will include whole slow-cooked lamb Ouzi, and traditional Arabic grills, plus chicken and lamb tagines and Moroccan-style hammour.

The buffet will also feature roast beef, spicy Indian curries, Asian stir-fries, Italian penne Arrabiata pasta and lotsmore. Desserts to include Arabic sweets such as kunafa, umm ali, and baklava, plus pastries and cakes like Italian tiramisu, raspberry eclairs, burnt basque cheesecake and more.


The iftar experience will offer gentle melodies from a live Qanoon player.

Children aged between six and 12 enjoy a 50% saving, while kids under six are invited to dine for free.

Olea at St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort

The all day dining restaurant will fuse Arabian and Mediterranean-inspired cuisine. You can sit al fresco on the terrace or inside the luxury dining room, while you dine on Ramadan favourites, like one-metre-long Turkish kebabs, and find Morrocan dishes in the tagine corner or head over to the live stations baklava, kunafa and creamy ‘booza’ Arabic ice cream. Iftar will also feature an extensive buffet with fresh seafood, barbecue grills, carved roast beef, homemade pastas, and spicy Indian curries.

You’ll be spoilt for choice at this Venetian Village location, with a menu that includes Indo-Emirati inspired dishes including Zaffrani Jhinga with Namkeen Balateet & Coconut Korma, Locally sourced fresh Buratta with Fattoush & Masala Falafel and Khabees with Passionfruit Yolk & Shrikhand.


You can also choose a quick set menu from Iftar – 7.45pm for just AED150 with popular mains including Butter Chicken and Prawn Dum Biryani and to finish, freshly baked Umm Ali or Rasmalai.


If you want to stay longer and take your time, you can choose the Ramadan tasting menu which includes condiments, dates and warm appetisers followed by six courses of exclusive dishes like Raan-e-Sikandari, a whole leg of mutton baked with spices & dry fruits, or Hyderabadi Haleem, hand-pounded mutton, wheat and lentil porridge with Hyderabadi spices.

Amano - Eastern Mangroves

The Newly launched Italian restaurant, Amano, located at Eastern Mangroves in Abu Dhabi is offering a 3-course set menu starting with dates and date smoothies to break your fast. Menu highlights include chicken skewers, fritto misto verdure, grilled seabass, chicken involtini, zaatar pizza, beetroot tortellacci pasta, strawberry cheesecake, date pudding or gelato. You’ll have the opportunity to choose from two-course orthree-course menu.


Amano is also offering an Iftar boat ride, where you can take your Iftar food and cruise on a boat through themangroves and break your fast! A one-hour boat package with the iftar menu starts from AED 349 onwards.

SushiArt

During Ramadan


SushiArt, will have an exclusive menu for the holy month featuring traditional Japanese dishes in three courses.

The Ramadan menu available for dine-in, takeaway and delivery offers you one miso soup either spicy or normal and one appetiser from a choice of edamame, vegetable gyoza, midori salad, kani salad, crispy salted calamari, or dynamite shrimp. This will be followed by the choice of one main course or platter of fried chicken katsu with steamed rice, spicy sesame chicken noodles, salmon teriyaki, beef noodles, or cooked 18 and sunset. Dessert is a choice of mochi or fresh fruit salad.

Bab Al Qasr Hotel

The hotel will be transforming its garden into a venue where you can comfortably dine with your family and friends. They have a Buy One Get One Iftar for which will have an international buffet with live cooking stations. There will also be live entertainment with a total number of 4 bands, and a Moroccan parade to keep you entertained during Iftar.
