Russell Peters Abu Dhabi October 2026

If you’re in the mood for big laughs and sharp observations, global comedy heavyweight Russell Peters is heading back to Abu Dhabi with his trademark, no-holds-barred stand-up.

Taking to the stage at Etihad Arena on Sunday, 25 October, the comedy icon returns as part of Abu Dhabi Showdown Week, promising a night packed with quick-fire humour, cultural observations and plenty of crowd interaction. Known for his fearless takes on everyday life, family dynamics and relationships, Russell Peters’ live shows are famously spontaneous, which means no two performances are ever the same.

From selling out some of the world’s biggest venues to building a global fanbase that spans generations, Peters has long been one of stand-up’s biggest success stories. His rise to international fame began with his breakout Comedy Now! special, followed by a run of hugely popular stand-up specials including Outsourced, Red, White and Brown, Almost Famous and Deported. Beyond the stage, he’s also appeared in films such as Chef and Source Code, and hosts the podcast Culturally Cancelled, where he dives into culture, current affairs and the absurdities of modern life.

Whether you’ve followed his career for years or you’re catching him live for the first time, this is set to be one of Abu Dhabi’s standout comedy nights of the season - the kind of show that leaves your cheeks hurting from laughing.
