Dusit Thani 

The Thai branded city hotel is currently running an Eid staycation offer where a two-night stay comes with complimentary access to Saadiyat Island’s museums, including Louvre Abu Dhabi, Zayed National Museum, and the Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi. 

Oh, and if you extend your stay by an extra night or more, you get unlimited Yas Island theme park access. Breakfast is served as part of the package and kids under 11 can stay for free.

Rixos Marina

Head over Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi where you can book a two-night stay as part of their all-inclusive Eid experience.

You can dine across their signature restaurants across the resort, and catch daily live entertainment. On the first day of Eid, there’s a dedicated Eid Brunch at Terra Mare that’s included if you’re on the all-inclusive package.

The Abu Dhabi EDITION 

Set along Al Bateen Marina, The Abu Dhabi EDITION is currently running a few stay options that may be worth checking out.

One of them is a 24-hour stay, where check-in and check-out are flexible. Breakfast at Market at EDITION is included, along with spa savings, laundry, and room upgrades depending on availability.

You also have the option to book the Eid brunch on its own if you don’t want to stay. It comes with reduced rates for kids and children under 6 dine free.

Things to do in Abu Dhabi for Eid al Adha

EID EATS

Flamingo Room’s Eid special limited-time collab 

Flamingo Room by tashas Abu Dhabi, has collaborated with Collective Africa and Histoires de Parfums for a limited-time Eid dining experience running until 29 May.

If you dine there for lunch or dinner and order their signature Baked Alaska, you might leave with an exclusive Histoires de Parfums fragrance. Keep an eye out for the desserts with a subtle pink detail, that’s the one revealing the winning table.

The activation runs in the lead-up to Eid, with three winners selected across the campaign period.

Sofra Bld by Shangri-La Qaryat Al Beri

The all-day dining restaurant is hosting a special buffet on May 27.

On the menu is a mix of traditional Arabic dishes and international favourites, including lamb ouzi, mezze, mixed grills, sushi, and a dedicated Asian corner, followed by a spread of Arabic sweets made for Eid.

The lunch is priced at AED 228 with soft beverages or AED 328 with house beverages. 

Plus, if you’re a circle member, you can also get 25% off dining across all their restaurants and bars.

Pearl Lounge, Grand Hyatt 

If an Eid dinner by the water sounds like your thing, head to Pearl Lounge at Grand Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel & Residences Emirates Pearl for a one-night BBQ evening on 29 May with live grill stations, outdoor seating, and views overlooking the Arabian Gulf.

It will be a Middle Eastern menu with ouzi, mezze, and a buffet with soft beverages, plus the option to add shisha for AED 100. The BBQ night runs from 7pm to 11pm and starts from AED 280 per person.

MIKA at Yas Marina

Fancy an Eid lunch or dinner with a marina view? MIKA at Yas Marina has just launched a new seasonal menu built around Mediterranean flavours, seafood, handmade pasta, and dishes coming straight off the grill.

If you’re heading there, you’ll get everything from king crab flatbread and yellowtail skewers to lamb ragu gnocchi, whole sea bass, and dry-aged wagyu ribeye depending on what you’re in the mood for.

And for dessert, there’s Nonna’s tiramisu, sticky toffee pudding, and a warm chocolate tart served with sourdough ice cream.

Daylong Restaurant, Millennium Downtown 

Take the family for an Eid buffet with live BBQ, Arabic favourites, and international dishes.

The spread includes freshly grilled chicken, kofta, and lamb from the live BBQ station, alongside a live pasta counter and traditional desserts like Kunafa and Umm Ali. 

While you’re there you can also take a dip in the pool, that’s included as part of your experience.

EID ACTIVITIES

Free live music at Yas Bay Waterfront: UAE in Harmony

As part of the ongoing UAE in Harmony show at Yas Bay Waterfront, free live music performances have been taking place throughout the month.

The initiative brings live music into everyday spaces around Abu Dhabi, with performers popping up across promenades, parks, malls, hotels, and cultural venues to give the city a lively, festival-style feel.

For this Eid, performances will take place from May 27 to 29 between 6pm and 9pm, featuring artists including Ahmed Shiha on violin, Suhad Najm on qanun, Mazen Albager on oud, Ashraf Metwaly on bass guitar, and more.

So if you’re hanging out at Yas Bay this Eid break, you’ll probably catch live music by the waterfront.

Eid Al Adha at Art Studio

If you’re interested in something artistic this Eid, head to Manarat Al Saadiyat, where Art Studio is hosting three days of interactive workshops and guided experiences. You get to try something new, spend time creating, and take home something you’ve made.

WTC: EID edition

What’s On at WTC Abu Dhabi, the mall’s community and entertainment program is back at World Trade Center Abu Dhabi, starting with an Eid edition from 26 May.

If you’re passing through the mall, you’ll be able to participate by spending AED 150, and that will give you access to a weekly line-up of free activities.

Saturdays are for fitness. Tuesdays bring kids’ workshops. Fridays have live shows on stage.

Free Family Reels: UAE Year of Family

If you’re looking for a cultural screening this Eid, head to Manarat Al Saadiyat, which is hosting a curated selection of international films in celebration of UAE’s Year of Family, each exploring the many ways family shapes our lives.

On 27 May, Discesa Libera (Free Fall), an Italian drama by Sandro Torella, will be screened. The film follows a struggling actor who takes on the role of caring for an elderly Alzheimer’s patient. What starts as a difficult job slowly turns into something more reflective, as art and care begin to overlap in unexpected ways.

Kadim Al Sahir Live at Space42 Arena

For live music, pop over to Space42 Arena where Kadim Al Sahir takes the stage on 28 May for an evening of timeless Arabic music and poetry-led classics.

Known as “The Caesar,” Kadim Al Sahir has spent decades shaping songs that audiences across generations continue to return to. From Qoulee Ouhibbouka to Hal Endak Shak, his music blends emotion, nostalgia, and lyrical storytelling in a way that still feels deeply personal.
