In light of recent regional developments, UAE authorities help a Media Breifing today and confirmed that the country remains secure, stable and fully operational.

Here’s a clear breakdown of where things stand.

Security & Defence

The UAE remains safe.

Integrated air defence systems successfully intercepted the majority of incoming missiles and drones. Limited casualties and minor damage were reported, primarily caused by interception debris.

As a precaution, the Armed Forces have elevated readiness levels and reinforced defensive deployments. Authorities reaffirm the UAE’s right to protect its sovereignty while maintaining a strategic and measured response.

Stability Across the Emirates

Security remains stable across all Emirates.

The Ministry of Interior is coordinating with more than 25 national entities to ensure continued public safety. Over 3,200 specialised vehicles and 4,800 patrol units are deployed nationwide, with emergency response systems operating at top international standards.

Residents are urged to rely on official sources for updates and to avoid the spread of misinformation.

The UAE’s Diplomatic Position

The UAE has made it clear that it does not seek escalation. However, it will not tolerate violations of its sovereignty.

The country has reaffirmed its right to self-defence under Article 51 of the UN Charter. Diplomatic measures have been taken, including embassy closure and formal protest, alongside calls for de-escalation, dialogue and responsible international action.

Authorities emphasised that Gulf security is interconnected and that regional stability remains a shared priority.

Economic Stability & Food Security

The UAE economy remains resilient, diversified and stable.

Strategic food reserves cover between four and six months of essential supplies, with supply chains continuing to function normally without disruption.

More than 420 inspection campaigns have been conducted to ensure price stability, with strict action being taken against price manipulation and unfair practices.

Tourism & Aviation

Tourism operations across the UAE continue safely.

There are currently more than 1,260 hotels and over 40,000 tourism businesses operating nationwide. Emergency air corridors have been activated with capacity for 48 flights per hour, and approximately 174,800 passengers have already been transported in phased operations.

Additional daily flights are being scheduled to manage demand, with passenger safety remaining the highest priority.

National Preparedness

Business continuity plans are active across vital sectors.

Distance learning measures are ensuring uninterrupted education where required. A joint national media cell is operating 24/7 to provide transparent updates, while early warning systems remain active for public notifications.

Authorities continue to stress the importance of community awareness and reliance on official communication channels.
