The Galleria Al Maryah Island is the place to be this festive season as it transforms into a Winter Wonderland this December.
They are promising a range of festive delights at The Galleria Al Maryah Island’s Winter Wonderland, and you're invited to celebrate the spirit of the season with roaming entertainment, winter sales, a Winter Village, Santa Claus himself and more.
Winter Wonderland runs from 6 through 26 December 2020 and here’s what The Galleria has in store this festive season:
Santa Claus is coming to The Galleria’s Winter Village
No festive season is complete without the main man himself and you'll be able to meet Santa Claus at the Winter Village, all while following the social distancing measures put in place.
Santa will be at the North Atrium by Debenhams from Saturday to Wednesday between 10:00 am to 9:00 pm, and Thursday and Friday from 10:00 am to 11:00 pm, and you and the kids can have your photo taken and emailed to you on the spot.
To ensure everyone’s safety, you're required to book their meet and greet slot ahead of visiting the Winter Village through the online booking application: www.santaatthegalleria.com. Santa’s elves will be there to help guide you to Santa’s sleigh on presentation of your booking confirmation.
A Winter Wonderland
This Winter Wonderlands will showcase sparkling lights, festive bells and stars, and there’s no shortage of Instagram inspiration either. You can pose by the nine-metre tree and illuminated reindeer installation, plus Santa and his reindeer will once again soar above the Central Atrium while you'll find giant baubles at the entrance too.
Letters to Santa
Head to the Winter Village on Ground Level or Central Kitchens on Level 3 to take part in ‘Letters to Santa’ where your little ones can send Santa a letter with all the reasons they should be on the good list this year, and a wish list of their most-wanted gifts from their favourite stores at The Galleria.
It's a good idea to get them posting their letters to the North Pole early, as 10 lucky children will have a wish come true wish on a weekly basis at The Galleria.
Festive themed sensory rooms
It's beginning to smell a lot like the holidays. On Level 2 by the Food Court and Family Park, you can look forward to visiting the festive sensory rooms, which will be embellished with candy canes, gingerbread, and cinnamon sticks - that will surely get you in to the festive mood.
With festive backdrops in every nook and cranny of the sensory rooms, you'll even get the chance to take those festive selfies to send to family around the world.
Shop till you drop
Running in tandem with Winter Wonderland is Retail Abu Dhabi’s ‘Abu Dhabi Shopping Season’, set to take place from 10 December 2020 until 14 February 2021, where you can take advantage of unbeatable sales and promotions and win some amazing prizes.
