Here's some good news if you’ve missed Wizz Air flights from Abu Dhabi.

The airline is coming back to the UAE, just over a year after it stopped flying from the capital in September 2025. Abu Dhabi and Dubai will join Jeddah and Amman, with 12 routes and 49 weekly flights planned across the four cities.

There'll be six European routes from the capital, with flights to Larnaca, Sofia, Budapest, Cluj, Krakow and Katowice returning from October. Fares start from as low as AED 107.

The first Abu Dhabi flights will take off on October 27, with Larnaca, Sofia, Cluj, Krakow and Katowice routes restarting that day. The Budapest route will return on October 25.

Here’s the full Abu Dhabi line-up:

  • Larnaca: from October 27, three flights a week, from AED 107

  • Sofia: from October 27, three flights a week, from AED 300

  • Budapest: from October 25, four flights a week, from AED 257
