Abu Dhabi has just welcomed its newest cultural icon: Zayed National Museum, the long-awaited centrepiece of Saadiyat Cultural District and now officially open to the public, and with prices and memebrships announced, there are so many ways to experience all through the year.

Designed by the legendary Lord Norman Foster, the museum brings together more than 1,500 objects, immersive galleries, and stunning architecture to tell the story of the land, its people, and the legacy of Sheikh Zayed - the UAE’s Founding Father.

It also marks the high point of an extraordinary cultural year for the capital, following the launches of teamLab Phenomena Abu Dhabi, Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi, and the reopening of Al Ain Museum. If you’re looking for world-class things to do in Abu Dhabi, this is one to put at the very top of your list.
