A massive McGettigan’s-led entertainment destination is coming to Reem Mall

Abu Dhabi isn’t short on places to go out, but this one is set to be on a completely different scale.

A huge new multi-concept dining and entertainment destination is heading to Reem Mall, with McGettigan’s leading the first phase. And at 45,000 sq ft, it’s shaping up to be one of the biggest hospitality launches the capital has seen in a while.

This isn’t just another McGettigan’s opening. The space is being designed as a full-scale social hub, bringing together food, live sport, music and entertainment under one roof.

The venue will feature a flagship McGettigan’s alongside a number of additional concepts, with more details expected to drop in the coming months. The idea is simple: somewhere you can go for a casual bite, stay for the match, and end up making a full evening of it.

Abu Dhabi’s first McGettigan’s Fan Zone

The first thing to launch will be the McGettigan’s Fan Zone, introducing the brand’s well-known live sport experience to Abu Dhabi for the first time.

If you’ve seen the Dubai version, you’ll know what to expect. Think major games shown across giant screens, a high-energy crowd, and a proper match-day atmosphere that goes beyond your standard sports bar setup.

It’s set to become a go-to for everything from football and rugby to big fight nights and international tournaments.

For Vision Hospitality, this marks a major step into Abu Dhabi and one of its biggest expansions to date. The focus remains on creating venues that bring people together, combining strong food and drink with a social, community-led atmosphere.

For Reem Mall, it adds another layer to what’s quickly becoming one of the city’s most interesting lifestyle destinations. With over 400 stores and a growing line-up of dining and entertainment options, this new opening is only going to strengthen its position as a go-to spot on Reem Island.
