Set to open in the Town Square area of Yas Mall in September, Avobar was originally founded in London in 2018. With a philosophy centred around ‘Balance’, producing simple, elevated dishes that use sustainably sourced ingredients where possible, it quickly gathered a cult following. The UAE's first branch will feature specialties inspired by Emirati culture alongside signature toasts, bowls, and salads, gluten-free items, desserts and pastries.
Key signature dishes include ‘The Avocado Avocado Toast’ (avocado served smashed and sliced) served on toasted sourdough, or Avobar’s iconic gluten free sweet potato toast, topped with extras such as salmon and poached egg.
There's also the brands popular Avobar Cobb Salad and Pancake Mango/Passionfruit which is covered in mango, passion fruit coulis, coconut flakes, and mascarpone cream.
Sweet treats include Fig Danish Pastries and Baklava Croissant, as well as Matcha White Chocolate Fondant and Passion Fruit Black Sesame Tartelette.
Avobar will be open daily from 10am to 10pm Sunday – Thursday and 10am to 12am Friday to Saturday, at Yas Mall, Abu Dhabi.
